    Serverless applications are built using services in a variety of common architecture patterns. Although customer scenarios are unique, these patterns emerge again and again. In this workshop, learn how to recognize and apply those patterns and best practices by building nearly production-ready code for a serverless application. Create microservices, run unit and integration tests, configure a CI/CD pipeline, and set up observability. You must bring your laptop to participate.

    Join this hands-on session to gain visibility and secure your IPv6 networks to meet compliance requirements. You will learn how to build a zero trust service architecture and implement authentication mechanisms and authorization policies.     Gaining insights with S3 Metadata

    Amazon S3 Metadata is designed to accelerate data discovery by automatically capturing metadata in an easily queryable format. S3 Metadata is built on top of Amazon S3 Tables which provides a managed Apache Iceberg implementation to store data. As your bucket contents change, records of those changes are automatically stored in an Apache Iceberg table stored inside an S3 table bucket. This workshop will give the participant hands on experience configuring and querying Amazon S3 Metadata.

    Simplify cross-VPC resource access with PrivateLink and VPC Lattice

    Learn how new innovations in AWS PrivateLink and Amazon VPC Lattice support private access to VPC resources such as databases and clusters across network boundaries using resource endpoints and service networks. In this session, learn about new features that use PrivateLink and VPC Lattice to simplify private connectivity for your services and data resources at scale. Discover how to enable the sharing and accessing of resources across VPCs and account boundaries and on-premises, which was previously not available in the cloud. Also walk through use cases, including large enterprise networks, connectivity to ISV partners, and AWS services.

Keynote

A talk given by high-level AWS leadership and/or AWS Partners and customers that establishes an underlying theme.

Breakout Session

Lecture-style sessions that feature one or more speakers presenting on an educational topic. Breakout sessions include an optional group Q&A at the end as time allows.

Builders’ Session

Small-group hands-on sessions led by AWS experts providing interactive learning on how to build on AWS. There is no formal presentation; once the demonstration is complete, attendees use their own laptops to experiment and build with guidance from the AWS expert.

Chalk Talk

Highly interactive sessions that feature a short lecture by an AWS expert, followed by an open-format Q&A using a whiteboard to encourage discussion. Chalk talks foster technical discussions about real-world architecture challenges.

Code Talk

Highly interactive, code-focused sessions where AWS experts leads a discussion featuring live coding and/or code samples as they illuminate the “why” behind AWS solutions. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions and follow along.

Dev Chat

Community-led sessions where attendees hear directly from AWS customers and AWS Heroes about how they are innovating, expediting, and scaling real-world solutions.

Lightning Talk

Short, theater presentations dedicated to a specific customer story, service demo, or AWS Partner offerings. Lightning talks are typically found in an Expo booth theater or other public space. As such, audience interaction such as Q&A may be limited.

Self-paced and Spotlight Labs

Your event registration gives you access to unlimited self-paced labs with support from AWS experts. These labs are available on a first-come, first-served basis, range in level from introductory to expert, and take approximately 40 to 120 minutes to complete.

Workshop

Hands-on sessions where attendees work under the guidance of AWS experts to build a solution using AWS. Each workshop starts with a short lecture by the speaker, followed by solution-focused building support. Attendees must bring their laptops to participate.
