Design

Senior UX Designer

Overview

Anchore is seeking a Senior UX designer to imagine and create experiences in the fast growing space of container security.

This role works closely with product managers, other UX designers, and engineers from initial concept and strategy through the execution of interaction design and product releases.

As part of the Anchore design team, you will be expected to tackle tough problems with elegant solutions. You will design ground-breaking, yet accessible products and experiences. This position requires a proven track record of mobile design, service design, and user-centered innovation. We’re passionate about security and compliance. Responsibilities:

  • Design and prototype elegant solutions for mobile and web apps
  • Partner with product managers on product strategy and definition
  • Identify user needs, sketch solutions with prototypes, test ideas with UX researchers, and refine designs with data and user feedback
  • Document detailed interaction models and UI specifications
  • Collaborate with other designers to maintain design consistency and coherence across the features on Anchore’s platform.
  • Manage and prioritize a workload of multiple projects from concept to completion
  • Evangelize best UX practices to other designers, engineers, and product managers

Qualifications:

  • At least 7 years experience designing digital consumer experiences
  • Proficient in user-centered design methods, exploration, storytelling and detailed interaction design
  • An empathetic and inquisitive nature
  • A passion for solving problems from big picture strategy to the tiny details
  • Experience launching mobile app and mobile web products in partnership with engineering teams
  • A positive attitude, open mind, and a desire to collaborate and learn
  • Prototyping skills
  • Strong experience in service design
  • Enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Must be a self-motivated and positive person that collaborates well with others
  • A great attitude and sense of humor goes a long way
  • Demonstrated experience and passion for marketplaces, communities and cities is a plus

Qualifications:

  • Expert programmer, ideally with working knowledge Python and/or Go.
  • Enthusiasm for open-source development
  • Deep experience with Linux operations, ideally with Container operations experience as well. And the desire to learn fast .
  • Familiarity with distributed system design and/or network services/API development
  • Ideally prior startup experience and/or with enterprise production software development/operations
  • Degree in Computer Science

Solutions Architect

Overview

Anchore is looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to join its newly-formed Enterprise Solutions team. Join our team and you’ll have the opportunity to work on challenging and diverse projects with a wide range of customers from Startups to Fortune 500 enterprises.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Working primary as solutions architect but with other responsibilities including consulting, training, and post-sales Professional Services and answering support escalations for Anchore Enterprise customers
  • Quickly understand a customer’s complex system and requirement set and find the correct solution for their needs.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates should have two to three years of experience working with containers and container orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong Linux skills
  • Experience with DevOps including CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
  • Experience with cloud hosting services such as Amazon AWS, Google Compute and Microsoft Azure.
  • As a 100% customer-facing job candidates should love and excel at interacting with customers, training and consulting.
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in information technology / computer science
  • 3+ experience years as Solutions Architect or Enterprise Architect with content or media infrastructure companies.

DevOps Engineer

Overview

Anchore is seeking a creative, energetic developer/operations engineer to join our team to produce innovative open-source enterprise infrastructure software, specializing in security and compliance for containers. Anchore technology gives users the power to secure and certify their container environments using a novel data-centric approach, both via a publically available SaaS platform as well as an on-premises open-source project which is already in use by 5 Fortune 100 organizations.

 

Responsibilities:

As a dev/ops engineer, your responsibilities will include architecting, designing and implementing anchore deployment tools and mechanisms for customers, renovating existing internal anchore technical infrastructure (internal test/build and release mechanisms), and evolving existing production infrastructure (AWS services that powers the anchore.io SaaS platform). In addition, as the anchore deployment/operations expert, you will be joining the rest of the engineering team by directly interacting with Anchore executives, product management and Anchore users, particularly during customer onboarding and initial integration/deploy of Anchore technologies. You’ll join a small and high-energy team at an exciting time of rapid growth. You’ll help shape the future of technology that is changing how the world builds applications.

 

Qualifications:

  • Expert in modern Linux operations, particularly in areas of designing and operating production services (on-prem and Internet-facing) as well as deploying and managing CI/CD infrastructures
  • Experience with AWS and/or other cloud infrastructure needed, with Kubernetes experience a plus
  • Programmer, with working knowledge of Python
  • Enthusiasm for open-source development and community interaction
  • Experience with with container technologies (and/or a willingness to learn fast!)
